Nigeria: Ahmed Musa's Mother Dies in Abuja

Mother of Nigerian forward, Ahmed Musa, has passed on in an Abuja hospital on Thursday, January 24.
Musa took to social media to announce the death of his mum, Sarah Moses, with a blank picture and crying emojis.
The AlNassr forward is currently in Nigeria
a due to a reported injury that has ruled him out of action for his Saudi Arabia club side.

Prior to her death, Musa had taken to Instagram to share a picture of himself and his mum.
"I am sure being tucked in bed is not the best thing you know to do. All your children are waiting for you to get out of bed and say 'I am back in action'. Get well soon Sweet Mum!," He said in the post.

The forward is scheduled to return to full fitness in February 2019. He is expected to play a key role with the Super Eagles at the 2019 AFCON set to hold at Egypt in June.

Former Super Eagles' star, Victor Moses will spend the rest of the season in Turkey having turned down the chance to make a permanent move to China, according to his club, Chelsea.
